Yahlife Income Stabilization Plan

The purpose of the income stabilization program is to provide re-curing income to Yahlife households enabling them to provide increasing levels of focus on nation building rather than personal sustenance. The program is designed to stabilize households based on their contribution to the community (Community Service), community status (Ambassador, Magistrate, Financier, Justice), and tenure.

The income stabilization plan is designed to provide a premium to the Living Wage figures provided in the MIT Living Wage Model1. The Living Wage base line is based on a family of five (2 adults/3 children), in the Harris County Texas market sector, with one Head of Household provider working 40 hours per week for 52 weeks a year (see MIT model for further assumptions)2. In accordance, the monthly living wage income is estimated at $4,612.803 pretax. Assuming a 28 percent tax rate the net living wage income is $3,321.224.

Households participating in the Income Stabilization Plan can have a direct impact on the recovery of their monthly community fees through the direct engagement of 10 members into the Yahlife community. The plan is designed to provide a minimum distribution equal or greater than their monthly community fees once 10 households have been directly brought into the community by the household.

Households brought into the Yahlife community through community engagement drives or other Yahlife sponsored activity will be assigned based upon a formula that takes into account the stabilization of households based on contributions, status, and tenure. These formulas are subject to frequent change as directed by the community chief with the Tribal Councils approval.

Every Yahlife Household is entitled to receive stabilization income upon meeting the currently stated criteria for acceptance into the program and this entitlement can only be impaired or disenfranchised by judicial decree of Yahlife Courts.

By its nature the Income Stabilization program is designed to pull resources from outside communities into the Yahlife Community to increase the flow of capital and resources within. As such reasonable capital control mechanism may be put in place to encourage trade within our community and discourage the external flow of capital. Capital control mechanisms include, but is not limited to transaction fees, conversion fees, and directed payment requirements. All capital control measures put in place will be at the direction of the Community Chief contingent upon approval by the Tribal Council.
